This journal is about, well, my mom. As the title states.
My mom is one of the most encouraging and supportive people I know. She encourages me to try new things, to follow my dreams and do what I love. And she is beyond supportive about my dreams and what I want to do with my life.
One specific memory I have and will always remember was the time she turned to me, grabbed my hand, and looked me in the eyes and said "I want you to do what makes you happy and what your heart feels is right, don't let anyone, not even me, tell you that you can't do it."
I'm so thankful to have her in my life. I'm so thankful that I was blessed with getting her as my mother. All I've ever had was my mom, no dad, just her, and I wouldn't change that for anything.

Update: I am now officially a freshman in the Art Department at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle. So far I am loving it!
This semester I have Sculpture, Photography(Film), Digital Imaging, Core Studio Concepts, and a writing class called The Body in Context. It's awesome to finally be living in my favorite city that I've always dreamed of living in, fulfilling my biggest dream.
I would just like to say a big thank you to those of you who have been supporting me non-stop, I appreciate it and I
Black and White Feature
Lately I've really been into the dark, emotional, and abstract black and white photos. So many deviants accomplish these kinds of photos very well and I just thought i'd share a few of them with everyone else. (:

New Student Day
Today I attended the New Student Day at Cornish College of the Arts, it was basically just a day for all the admitted students. It was absolutely amazing. We got to see the beginning of one of the theaters productions called Bat Boy. Then we listened to some of the faculty speak and got to hear many opinions about the school from some of the alumni. Then I had to split up with my mom for lunch and find some people to sit with. I ended up sitting next to three different department majors; Design, Performance Production, and a Dancer. After lunch we went to look at one of the student art gallery's in the building and I talked to a freshman abou
